Author Description Dru Melton is an award winning chef and author of The Soupbox Cookbook, a collaborative effort with his partner in all things soup Jamie Taerbaum. Dru Melton has been with the Soupbox since its founding in 1995. In his 30 years of food service experience, his job descriptions have run the gamut from dish washer to line cook to head chef to general manager. Over the last 16 years at Soupbox his recipes and dishes have made multiple appearances on film and print media. A busy working dad with a good understanding of what it takes to balance home and work life, Dru Melton has worked hard to make his recipes and business easily approachable and welcoming.
