Author Description Kristy Bernardo is the creator of the popular food blog, The Wicked Noodle and the author of two bestselling books with two more coming in late 2019/early 2020. Although mostly self-taught, she has been strongly influenced by her mother and grandmother and honed her skills at boot camp at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. She has owned a successful business as a personal chef, has taught cooking classes to all ages, speaks at conferences and events and has appeared regularly on video and television. Her work as both a food and travel writer have appeared in many mainstream online publications, such as Huffington Post, Food and Wine magazine, Better Homes and Gardens and many more.<br /><br />Kristy lives in Northern VA with her two daughters, Kylie and Katie, and their two cats, Mr. Pepper and Princess Whiskers. You can most often find her walking the nearby trails, riding her motorcycle in Virginia’s gorgeous wine country or trying new dishes and cocktails at restaurants everywhere.<br />
